A scratching at the door, that'll be the last memory I'll have of that annoying little pest, numerouse times I've tried to rid myself of it, but with no success! not this time, oh no, I've got a fool-proof plan! My bags are packed and I'm waiting for My taxi, listening to the scratching, It's hard to ignore. What if people think she's owned? I can't leave her collar on, I can't leave any evidence.
She opens the door, and there I am, the cat she knows as Blackbelle. I look up at her, smiling, she scratches my head, but it's not the same loving pet she used to show me, she's thrown me in rivers, dropped me on the side of the road, I've even traveled across the state to get back home, it's my love for her that keeps me going, keeps me strong, she's my master, and my love for her is undying! She takes off my collar, she usually does, it gets dirty and discolored, so that's a normal routine with us! I go to walk inside, but she slams the door in my face, weird, maybe she thinks I've already gone inside, oh well, I'll just get her attention again!
There it is again, that scratching, I've had enough! My Taxi's here, this is it, I'll finally be rid of that cat.
was that a car? I run around to see what it was, it's my master! she's packing bags into the back of that yellow car, that's alot of bags, are we moving to a new house? she won't leave me, she'll come looking for me and I'll go for a ride with her! why is she closing the door? why is she driving- where's she going? don't leave! I run after her, trying to catch up, yelling for her to stop, but she can't hear me, it's useless, I don't know where she's going or how to find her anymore, I stand and watch the car dissapear into the distance. She left me, that wrinkly old blue haired hag left me! I thought our connection was strong! but now I can't get the slightest bit in tune with her! she's shut me out... I'm all alone...
Alone in this big cold world.

It's been days since my master left me here. At first I had hoped that maybe she'll come back, if maybe- just maybe, I'll see that strange yellow car, and she'll come out and pick me up and take me with her, but I've felt so alone these past few days, sitting here on this porch, I sometimes find myself scratching at the door, pleading to be let inside where it's warm, but there's nobody inside, so my attempts are useless. What has she done with my collar? Did she keep it? Or is it still in there? I guess it dosen't matter anymore, I now have to find shelter from the cold, the truth is I'll have young ones soon, and in this bitter cold they'd never survive, I can't let them die, I have to find some place to hide them where they'll stay warm, but where? After many days spent on this porch, I finally take my first step into living as an individual, I've never known this freedom, it's a little scary to be honest, but as scary as it is, it also seems natural, like I was born to live this way.
I don't know where it came from, or why, but something in me ordered me to venture out of this land of cozy little homes, wound together with stone strips on which the cars always traveled, I never go out on that stone, I know those cars could eat me whole if they wanted, I'd never stand a chance against one. So rather than head into the stone, I go in the opposite direction, where ahead of me lies trees, and soil, and plenty of game, I've been in here numerous times, it's a land where I'll be able to raise my young ones the way they should be raised, or rather, how they should be raised if I can find the proper shelter to raise them in. During my search, I would often watch Sun, I can tell how much time is left by how far he has jumped accross the sky, my master used to tell a tale about Sun, He was a mighty cat who made a journey around the earth, and during the night it fought against a fearsome snake, though the snake would never prevail, thus the cat travels around the earth once more. And so as Sun makes his journey across the sky, I make my own in search of a home.
Sun had already gone out of my sight by the time I found my new home, a space under a tree where some other creature has hollowed it out and made a home among the roots, it must have been long ago for there is no visual evidence of anything living here, there are no strange scents either, it's surprisingly warm and comfortable in this small den, so I decide to settle in and make this my home. Much too tired to scent the entire area, I begin by scenting the enterance to my new home, the rest can wait until morning after I've rested and eaten, left upon these thoughts, I lie down, curled up with my tail to my nose, and it was no sooner than I had lie my weary head against the smooth ground that sleep had draped it's comforting blanket over me, not to be disturbed until Sun was making his next journey.

Let me know what you think, I'm not very good at writing stories, and I don't write very often... and it's not anywhere near being done...
I don't get the inspiration to write very often... it's actually taken me about two years to get this far, but when I do get the inspiration I'll work on this sory a bit more.
